It’s the Pumpkinfest Derby!

Location: Elm Street Plaza, behind Main Street

The Pumpkin Derby brings yet another way to utilize a pumpkin, as spectators and contestants will enjoy the “soapbox-styled” pumpkin-car race! A perfect parental bonding opportunity!

Registration Required!

• Come to the Pit stop to get necessary equipment to race and then decorate your pumpkin at home prior to race

  • Hours: Friday, October 9th from 2:00- 6:00 PM and Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

  • Cost: $10.00 per pumpkin kit. No markup, just cost, and we install for you!

  • Cost $5.00 if you return with all the hardware from a previous year

• We drill holes, install tires and axles to your pumpkin-car. All registrants must use our provided tires and axles.

Derby Guidelines:

Racer Ages: Up to 17 years old

• Racers must provide their own pumpkin between 15-20 lbs.

• All racers must pay $10 for materials & PICK UP THEIR WHEELS/AXLE to equip their Pumpkin-car at Pumpkinfest Pit Stop in advance! See details below!

• In person “Check Your Engines” Check In - 8am on Sunday, October 12th (registered racers only!)

  • Bring decorated, equipped pumpkin and racers line up!

• 9 am on Sunday, October 12th - Race begins!
