An Event in the Best Taste and Fortitude!

The Pie Eating Contest will be quite the spectacle, involving races and feats of feasting taking place on

Sunday, October 12th 2 PM in Elm Street Plaza.

Participation will be first-come, first served for youth, adult and dogs! 🐶

In between pie-eating, Team Maine Armwrestling will take the stage to bring delight to the audience with their amazing skills in demonstration.

Contest Guidelines

  • Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis just prior to the pie-eating contest.
    Pumpkinfest reserves the right to adjust the event participants as needed.

  • Pie Eating Contest will take place after the Derby, aiming for around 2 PM on Sunday, 10/12/2025

  • 4 in the Elm Street Plaza, on the Buskers’ stage.

  • There will be 3 categories - youth, adult and furry canine friends!

    • Adult: We will accept the first 10 participants.

    • Youth: We will accept the first 10 participants.

    • Dogs: We will accept the first 5 participants of each size category for dogs (small, medium, large).
      small dog = up to 15 lbs ; medium dog = 15 lbs - 45 lbs ; large dog = 45 lbs or more
